Dr. Andrew Young

Radiation Oncology

Dr. Young’s career niche came when Dr. Eugene Hug, former Chief of Radiation Oncology at Dartmouth, recruited him out of training to establish a community based practice approximately two hours south of the main hospital. While Dr. Young enjoyed representing Radiation Oncology at Dartmouth’s Neuro Oncology, GI, Chest and Palliative care tumor boards, it was being out in the community and providing university level care to the folks far away from such facilities that was most rewarding.

Dr. Young finds great satisfaction in working with local primary care physicians as well as local and university oncologic sub-specialists. Without a doubt, the most satisfying aspect of his career is working with the patients and the many challenges they bring to the practice of community based clinical oncology.

Dr. Young’s Credentials include:

  • Medical School: Drexel University College of Medicine
  • Internship: Lehigh Valley Hospital
  • Residency in Radiation Oncology: Drexel University
